Dr. Johnson is an optometrist and vision therapist with a varied background and several areas of expertise. Her earliest discovered passion is pediatrics, particularly working with children who need glasses, vision therapy (physical therapy for the eyes) or help with learning difficulties. She continues to care for this type of patient in a local private practice. At UC Berkeley she sees adult and teen concussion rehabilitation patients in the Sport Vision and Concussion clinic. Seeing concussion patients progress in their rehabilitation programs is one of the most fulfilling parts of her job. She loves being part of the multidisciplinary concussion team and the opportunity to connect with patients.
