ADHD & Neurodivergent FriendlyAnxietyDepressionListens & Believes PatientsShared Decision MakingTelehealth AvailableDr. Leivent is the first attentive psychiatrist I’ve worked with. He’s supportive and impactful in my treatment. I’ve had my share of psychiatrists since age 8, but Dr. Leivent stands out as the good and right about healthcare. He never pushed medications I didn’t want, listened to my past experiences, and ensured I wasn’t put on them. During a medication crisis, he helped me figure out my next steps, and I was involved in the process. He’s gentle with ADHD and redirects me back to the topic. He responds on weekends for extreme difficulties and texts for medication refill reminders. He’s professional and great. This experience taught me to advocate for myself better. Dr. Leivent listens, doesn’t belittle me, or make me feel stupid for asking questions or saying what I’m going through. He accepts most insurance but not Medicaid or state insurances. If you pay out of pocket, he provides super bills for reimbursement. The initial visit is $750, followed by $375 after. Medication refills cost between $275-$475, depending on whether it’s a controlled drug. I highly recommend Dr. Leivent. If you end up booking an appointment, tell him Ms. Kalici (pronounced like in Game of Thrones). He’ll get a laugh out of me referring him patients. He’s made a huge impact on my mental health, and I have to share him with others! Enjoy!
