He works for Sutter’s OMM clinic and I saw him for severe joint and muscular pain and weakness in my second trimester of pregnancy. He was very proactive and ended up identifying some major connections between my various lifelong health struggles that had gone unnoticed by all my previous providers due to stigma about my weight and an assumption that my mental health caused all my chronic pain and I just “needed to exercise more.” This doctor not only listened and cared but he asked real questions in a respectful manner and was very culturally competent in treating a pregnant queer patient like myself and also did some joint and muscle manipulation techniques that helped relieve me of much of my pain. I cannot recommend this provider enough, because of him both my mom and sister have been evaluated for the same genetic markers as I was and have been screened and diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder that was causing each of us so much pain and had gone over looked for each of our entire lives.
