When I was in a DV relationship, my partner was trying to get me pregnant to force me to stay. Maggie provided abortive care, assured I had 24 hour access to her in the event of an emergency (there was one), and was immediately available when I needed her. She also advocated for me in my attempts to obtain a hysterectomy. I was unable for unrelated reasons, but she fought for me every step of the way. She also cared for my grandmother during a time she was in need of palliative care. Dr. Carpenter is an incredible, rounded physician and she treats every patient like her own family.
