Dr. Douglass diagnosed me with endometriosis and adenomyosis (after 20 years of symptoms being ignored by previous providers). I had given up and my life was getting smaller and smaller as the symptoms worsened. My husband found her online and asked me to try one more doctor. She helped me understand what was going on, which symptoms would be helped by surgery and which wouldn't, etc. She was humble and kind. She listened well and communicated technical information in a way I understood without patronizing me or cutting me out of the process.
