While the hospital he works for is AWFUL about scheduling appointments, Dr. Vietz himself is the first and only person to suggest the debilitating pain I've been dealing with for years wasn't "just part of being a woman" and that I may have endometriosis. I did, he surgically removed it, and now I'm grieving the years I lost for such a simple fix. He spoke about my concerns and his suspicions as so black and white throughout the whole experience, which was extremely validating. He remembers me as a person and not a patient, remembering my hobbies and asking if being able to do them has improved since the surgery at follow-ups. He sees the whole picture, not just the symptoms.
