She never once denied my care because "a man might change his mind." instead, she told me "the procedure you like has some major health concerns, let's look into this other option" within a year, from start to finish, she got me into surgery, diagnosed and removed endometriosis and removed my tubes. No questions asked. No mention of a fictional man, or about if i'll change my mind. One consent form was all she needed to listen to me.
