Dr. Thummala saved my life. In 2021 I was battling a rare blood autoimmune disorder. Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. Only .08-3 people a year are diagnosed with this condition. 70% of those diagnosed are women. No doctor knew what was wrong with me. Dr. Thummala came to the hospital where I spent 2 weeks at to care for me because she is an expert in hematology and was able to diagnose me within 2 days of seeing me after YEARS of being dismissed and told my dizziness/passing out was because of “lack of vitamins”. Had I not gone to the ER when I did, I would not have made it another day. I am now here 4 years later because of Dr. Thummala.
