Melissa became my provider to help manage my migraines through Botox treatments and rescue medication when needed. After living with migraines since the age of eight, I experienced an 80% reduction in my active migraine cycle under her care. From the beginning, Melissa has partnered with me in setting goals and has taken the time to walk me through every detail of each new rescue medication, always with thoughtful consideration for my complex GI disease. After nearly 15 years of tests and medication trials, Melissa gave me back a significant part of my life in just nine months. I will never forget the moment I pulled over in my car and cried tears of relief when I realized I had experienced my first truly pain-free day in almost two decades because of the success of this treatment. Melissa has also worked tirelessly to ensure I can continue accessing this care in our region, advocating for me and breaking down barriers with physicians who did not view it as a traditional treatment option or would not consider it without a far more severe diagnosis.
