The only Dr. who has ever looked at me and said, this isn’t your weight. You are 34 and a size 10. Could you lose a few pounds? Maybe, but you need LABS. We’re going to figure this out. The first time I’ve ever felt SEEN. She also sent me to a Rheumatologist and Endocrinologist at Duke when she felt like she had reached the end of her knowledge to help me. A doctor ADMITTING that my issues were real and she wasn’t knowledgeable enough to figure it out on her own. Amazing.
