I have many complex health issues, but saw Dr. Burke for PMDD. Honestly he truly is a caring doctor and a rare gem. He truly cares about helping his patients and is willing to listen and learn and heard me out when I demanded to try Lupron for PMDD (because I was quite young, he had me try other, less expensive/drastic treatments first, but they just weren't working well enough). He also spotted my developing hypothyroidism. He tends to lean more conservative in treatment but i think it's really because he doesn't want to cause unnecessary harm--if treatment isn't working, he's willing to discuss trying more because he truly wants to help you achieve the best outcome.
