I got hurt at work in 2019. I advocated for myself for two years. A friend referred me to her DR and on our first visit she ordered the MRI I had been asking for all along. Turns out it the pain wasn’t in my head and I have a bulging disk between C6 and C7. When she told me let’s get you in there. You’ve suffered enough I broke down in tears. Finally someone was listening to me. I’m still in so much pain but she has done so much for me. Any tests I ask for she orders. I don’t get the run around. She knows I know my body best and if I say somethings wrong there is something wrong.
