Dr. Fulkerson-Schaeffer has been nothing but patient, kind, and attentive to me over the last 3 years while I navigated my chronic illness, she listens to my pain and takes me seriously, and she is so knowledgeable and open minded when it comes to lesser-known conditions and was proactive about testing for them along my chronic illness journey. She is also very trans-affirming, and has helped me and several of my trans friends and loved ones secure our HRT, update our medical profiles to protect our care under this administration, and assured us that her clinic would do everything in its power to protect us from the government coming after trans patients. Her clinic receives federal funding, which unfortunately means she cannot write letters for things like medical cannabis due to federal laws, and the clinic has a policy against making statements testifying for a person's disability or being involved in SSI claims. Other than those 2 things outside of her control, I have literally never had any problems with Dr. Fulkerson-Schaeffer in the 6 years that I've been seeing her, and she has changed my life for the better. I wish I could add more than 6 tags to include how thorough, positive and supportive she has been in my treatment.
