My health was deteriorating, and the doctor's I had seen since diagnosis gave me very little to look forward to. I wasn't sure if I had much time left and if there was any hope to left to have. The doctor's I saw in the hospital and following my discharge all said they had no idea what could be done, or why my heart was failing. When I met Dr. Butschek he was very clear that we would investigate the causes of my decline, but also start treatment immediately and that there were several avenues we would go down and that there could be a path to improving my health. Not only did that change everything for me, he was there to give me encouragement as well as the experience and knowledge of what was available to me. My health has turned around completely and I now live a relatively normal life. I am grateful beyond words for the care he gave me.
