Dr Takeshige became my gynecologist after I had an extremely embarrassingly uncomfortable few sessions with my first gyno working in the same office. The first one dismissed my extreme pain because of my age and never took me seriously. The first one also felt the need to lecture me and constantly "quiz" me on having safe sex. I wasn't even having it. I was extremely upset and hurt and never wanted to go back to her ever again. I asked the front desk if there was someone else I can see and Dr Takeshige had an opening because one of her patients had to cancel last minute, I am so grateful they did. She sat down with me and talked to me and NEVER treated me differently than a full grown woman. She took my pain seriously, she adjusted my meds, ordered blood work which revealed the issue. She ordered scans without hesitation to find the root of my pain. She found it and cured me. She makes me feel like I can tell her anything and everything going on without ever feeling ashamed. She has guided me to try alternate remedies before immediately having me get yet another prescription, some lifestyle changes and habit changes too. I am proud of the fact that I swapped to her at 18 and am now in my late twenties and I trust this woman with all the good and bad. She even caught an Early stage of cancer and got me treatment right away. I am alive because of this amazing, talented, and well knowledged doctor. I am relieved and proud to call her my doctor.
