Dr. Li (Zenith MindCare Solutions) was on staff at Renown Crisis Center when my adult son was a patient there, and I truly can’t say enough about the care he provided. My son had struggled with substance use for many years and had even attempted rehab just six months prior, without lasting success. Dr. Li took the time to really listen to my son and conducted a thorough psychiatric evaluation. He was able to recognize that my son’s substance use was not simply recreational, but an attempt to cope with underlying symptoms. He diagnosed him with severe bipolar disorder and immediately put a thoughtful treatment plan in place. Importantly, Dr. Li acknowledged that my son is part of the LGBTQ+ community and approached his care with that understanding at the forefront, ensuring his treatment plan was both affirming and individualized. What stood out most was how clearly and compassionately Dr. Li explained the diagnosis, the reasoning behind it, and the path forward. He made sure both my son and our family understood what was happening and what to expect. Since starting the prescribed medications, the change in my son has been remarkable. He is stable, engaged, and doing better than we’ve seen in years. I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Li’s expertise, insight, and genuine care. He truly made a life-changing difference for our family.
