Clinicians Who Care

Dr. Chaloux is the first primary care physician who has approached my health as a whole and takes into consideration my lack of faith in the current system and a mistrust of the pharmaceutical industry in particular. She addresses any issue I bring in as a whole, working to find the root cause vs. immediately blowing me off and / or medicating for the symptom without treating the underlying illness or condition. On my first visit with her, I asked about a hysterectomy to treat my painful periods. I’ve been told no by doctors in the past, stating that I needed to try an IUD before I could qualify for surgery. Dr. Chaloux advised me that she was aware of a gynecologist who was known to perform elective hysterectomies and she would refer me. I’m now living a pain-free, period-free life. This is simply one experience of many that have been positive with this physician.
