Clinicians Who Care

Dr. Duffy is only Physician I immediately felt at ease with since moving to Northern Maine. We live in a very rural area and I have been treated as though I was making up my symptoms. I currently and battling cancer. He’s unfortunately only here for a contracted period of time. But it’s important that others know.

We relocated to Northern Maine in 1/23. We did not research the area prior to moving. It was absolute shock for us the healthcare or lack there of in the area. There is a real shortage of primary providers in the area and not many specialists. I’ve have dealt and experienced some incredibly traumatic situations in the area. I recently needed to bite the bullet and meet with a provider. They scheduled me with Michael Duffy. I went into the appointment with my guard up and frustrations because he was only doing it temporarily. But within the first few minutes of meeting him. My entire energy and attitude shifted. I felt safe in a Doctors officer again for the first time in years. He’s such a breath of fresh air for the area. And I typically don’t want a white male provider but I felt completely safe and seen in the appointment.
