Dr. Hua by all accounts truly saved my life. And helped me advocate to have my left kidney out against my urologist opinion. He met with numerous times to help reassure and talk it over with me. My urologist did not want to do the procedure. And said he’d finally be willing to do a needle biopsy. But after meeting with Dr. Hua and getting all the information. I had all the knowledge, power, voice to make sure my kidney came out. I was diagnosed stage 3 clear cell renal carcinoma. My urologist initially said it was cancer when it was found in 2020 but was all the sudden adamant that women under the age of 45 don’t get kidney cancer. I’ll never forget the moment he had to look me in my eyes an say he was wrong. And I only had to courage because of Dr. Hua (interventional Radiologist) and Grace Chao my PAC at the time.
