Clinicians Who Care

I have hypermobility spectrum disorder and I first started to see Whitney when my left shoulder subluxated over a year ago and wouldn't go back in. She believes me, believes my pain and always asks me what I need before we begin our appointment. She is always asking her zebra patients about things that have helped them, and shares their recommendations with her other zebra patients. She is a great reference to ask about where to get tools to use at home to help ease pain (like silicone cups for cupping), build muscle (yoga ball, printed exercises), and what braces could be beneficial for a given joint. Whitney understands that there is so much she doesn't know, and is always ready to learn and pivot according to what her patient needs. I hope my insurance never stops covering her because she is such a huge part of maintaining my quality of life with HSD. Whitney is great for many reasons, but the one that matters most is that she actually cares about me, about her patients.
